FAQ & More… > Organizing Yourself & Your Projects > Taming Your Inbox
Anyone with a website has - or should have - an email address that visitors can use to contact them with questions or orders. In addition to these emails, we are flooded daily with messages from family, friends and the ubiquitous spam.
One way to tame the beast is to add some content to the subject line of the emails coming from your website. It will help you determine where the emails are coming from and what they are about.
For example, if you have a contact email on your product page, you could add "Product Information" in the subject line. You may also have an email - and it could be directed to the same email address - on your press room page. For those emails you could have "Press Inquiry" in the subject line.
If you know how to add an email link you can add a pre-completed subject line. Add "?subject=" after the email address followed by the subject line. Do not include any spaces.
